Kerry Wilson Talking Therapies Outdoor
Hello and welcome. It’s great to have you here.
I offer therapy to adults and young people (14+) in outdoor, natural settings.
I also offer outdoor supervision for therapists and pastoral practitioners whether you work indoors or outdoors.
I carry out my work with warmth, compassion and acceptance. I will provide a calm and confidential space where you can safely explore thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I will work alongside you to find balance in everyday life. As you grow and change I will offer tools to succeed outside of therapy.

Hello, I’m Kerry
I’m a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist and an accredited member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) for both adults and young people.
Therapy
My approach ….. to therapy is Integrative. This means that I’m trained in a number of therapeutic approaches that enable me to be flexible to suit the individual needs of each person. I work relationally. This means that I’ll encourage you to pay attention and get curious about our relationship(s) and I will also do the same. I view relationships to be central in psychological health and our therapeutic relationship may help facilitate awareness, growth and positive change.
I am experienced in working with a variety of difficulties. The majority of my work has been with depression, anxiety, complex trauma, loss, relationships and family conflict.
In our sessions together I will listen to you and help you to explore what is on your mind. This will give you a better understanding of your feelings, thought processes and patterns in behaviour. I will support you to find your own solutions and build a picture of what you want to change and a plan of how to do this successfully.

The Outdoors … I specialise in working therapeutically in natural environments. This is known as ecopsychotherapy. I have found that taking therapy into outdoor natural environments enriches the therapeutic experience. It spurs deeper and creative ways of thinking and our movement through the landscape allows people to feel ‘unstuck’ while confronting their problems.
