Hello. I’m Kerry, a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist and an accredited member of the National Counselling Society (NCS).
My approach to counselling is Integrative. This means that I’m trained in a number of counselling approaches that enable me to be flexible to suit the individual needs of each person.
I am experienced at working with a variety of difficulties. The majority of my work has been with depression, anxiety, complex trauma, loss, relationships and family conflict.
In our sessions together I will listen to you and help you to explore what is on your mind. This will give you a better understanding of your feelings, thought processes and patterns in behaviour. I will support you to find your own solutions and build a picture of what you want to change and a plan of how to do this successfully.
I have a special interest in working therapeutically in natural environments. I believe that nature offers a healing space for reflection with an abundance of metaphors and symbols that can mirror a person’s inner struggles and offer a richness to personal development. I offer Walk and Talk Therapy and Nature Therapy as well as working in the room.
